San Giuseppe dei Teatini
San Giuseppe dei Teatini is a church in Palermo.
The Church was built in the 17th century by the Genoese architect Giacomo Besio following a Baroque style that is found mainly in the frescoes that decorate it, sculptural and stucco decorations. A church façade, to the left of the façade, is used for one of the four quarters of piazza Vigliena, in particular that of the neighbourhood Albergheria. The opposite side is occupied by what is called the fifth song in fact repeats, with a few modifications, the pattern of the four quarters of the adjacent square. Outside the building the great dome stands out and is easily visible from many areas of the city.
Inside there is a crypt with an aquifer, the crypt is not accessible, but there is a widespread belief that its water is miraculous.
